Kick off the summer bicycle season this Friday and Saturday, April 23 & 24, at the Active Living Bike Expo, presented by The Bicycle Alliance of Minnesota. The Expo will be held in the Education Building at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds.
Contests will be held each day at this family friendly event. Register to win one of several fabulous prizes including bike jerseys, bicycles, and a grand prize three-day bike vacation for up to six people at one of Lutsen Resort's luxury townhomes.
Take in the bikewear fashion show on Friday night or a workshop on bicycle safety. You will also find the latest in gear and products as well as maps to help you plan your route to work or school.
While you're at the Expo, pick up a free copy of the 2010 Bike Event & Resource Guide. This must-have pocket companion includes bicycle event listings, contact information for Minnesota tourism centers, bike shops and clubs, resources, trail maps and more!
Parking and admission to the Expo is free with a non-perishable food donation to benefit the Minnesota Emergency Foodshelf Network. A complimentary indoor bike corral and valet bike parking will be available if you choose to cycle to the Expo!
