Miller Lite teams with Metro Transit and J.J. Taylor Distributing to offer safe rides in Twin Cities
Miller Lite Free Rides® is returning to the Twin Cities New Year’s Eve to provide a safe transportation alternative and help residents and visitors plan ahead for a safe ride home from their celebration. Miller Lite, in partnership with Metro Transit and J.J. Taylor Distributing, will offer free service Monday, December 31, on light rail and bus routes throughout the Twin Cities. This is the second year Miller Lite Free Rides has celebrated the New Year with the Twin Cities.

“We believe that with great beer comes great responsibility, and we encourage everyone to enjoy the holidays responsibly by planning ahead for safe ride home,” said Diane Wagner, responsibility commerce manager for MillerCoors. “Miller Lite Free Rides have been a part of making St. Patrick’s celebrations memorable in the Twin Cities for 16 years, and we’re excited to bring the program back to make this New Year’s Eve just as memorable.”
Miller Lite Free Rides will celebrate its 25th year in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on New Year’s Eve, with the free service also offered in Green Bay, Madison and Waukesha, Wisconsin. Since its inception in 1987, Miller Lite has provided more than 3 million ‘Free Rides’ in a total of 10 communities.
