The Cafesjian’s Carousel isn’t just any ride—it’s a Minnesota treasure. Built in 1914, this hand-carved wooden carousel is more than 109 years old. Originally part of the Minnesota State Fair, it was moved to Como Park to be preserved and enjoyed by future generations. Thanks to dedicated restoration efforts, the carousel now shines with vibrant colors, intricate details, and the cheerful sound of its classic band organ.
Normally, rides cost $4 each, but on Free Ride Day, everyone gets unlimited turns for free. Kids will love the chance to ride the horses again and again, while adults can relive their childhood memories of reaching for the brass ring.
